Meet Joy Nan Rodia

I am Joy Nan Rodia, President of the Design Studio of Spaces, Director and Owner of the Spaces School of Interior Redesign and Home Staging , LLC.   and Founder of the Society of Professional Interior Re-designers and Home Stagers.  I'm committed to creating individualized, unique, and functional designs to meet your needs and your lifestyle.

I graduated from the Parson School of Design in New York City, thrive on all styles of traditional interior design, and am experienced in  "transitional style" as well, where traditional furnishings are designed with a contemporary edge.

In addition to being an interior designer, I teach the essential concepts and principles of redesigning interiors as well as more advanced concepts of interior design. I have  designed a certification program for those of you who want to have a career in interior redesign.
 

Regardless of the size of your project, from initial consultation to specifying a product, project management, complete furnishing and final installation, I offer a personal design service and professional expertise.

My excitement for interior design stems from my training and education coupled with a life long passion for creativity.

My passion for interior design has led me to share my  enthusiasm through teaching and helping people discover their own talents that lie within them.

I consider design as a "gift" and am grateful that I can offer help and make a positive change in a way that will enhance and harmonize the way you live in a space. Through rethinking, reworking, and refreshing a space, I am able to give added beauty and warmth to a space, as well as making it more comfortable and functional.
 

My designs are created with a goal of timelessness, creating homes that will age with elegance. Because I tailor a home design to the personality of each client, the beautiful designs we create together will continue to serve you for years to come.

The designs that I create become truly one-of-a kind through a step-by-step design process based on your specific needs.  I also enjoy cross-pollinating genres, by adding antiques into a contemporary interior, or modern furnishings into a traditional interior to help make your residence feel lived in.

I get great pleasure and creative challenge in designing within any style and will work within your budget to achieve the best possible results for your new home.

Whatever genre suits you, through our considerations of line, mass, lighting, color, material, and texture, my design studio strives to achieve a delightful residence designed for graceful living.

I provide residential and commercial interior design services to clients in:
